Out horses are definitely coming back to form. Our first flat runners will come on a lot for their first races but nearly all have run decent races, the pick of them was Bit of a Quirke who finished second at Pontefract, he has four 2nd places to his name now and his first win looks like it will be coming very soon!

We had a great day at Wetherby on Thursday with Mr Snoozy winning his 7th race. He was given to us as a yearling and we gave him to his current owner Tom Heseltine, he has done him proud winning over £34,000 in prize money. Below is a picture of him in the winner's enclosure.

The day got even better when Bankhall won the last race in good style, we have changed his training in the last month or so only riding him only twice a week and doing loose exercise in our lunging ring on the other days. He has responded really well to this and we thought he was spot on for the race. His owner Elaine Holmes selected him at Doncaster sales in August, his form in Irish point to points was not inspiring reading 0PP5PP but after looking at him my Dad and I really liked him as well and paid £5000 for him. Since then he has won 2 races and been placed 4 times from ten races winning nearly £10,000 in prize money. Below is a picture of him.

With four runners tomorrow and the possibility  that Trustan Times could run in the Scottish Grand National on Saturday it should be an exciting week.
