My blog has been somewhat neglected over the last few months so it's about time for an update!

Miss Conway won at Hexham on Sunday which made it 3 consecutive wins, she looked better than ever winning by 6 lengths under a good ride from Jamie Hamilton. They have struck up a really good partnership and together their form figures this season are 6132111. She goes back to Hexham where she has now won 4 races next month. Below is a picture of her looking out onto Hexham racecourse after her win on Sunday.

The flat horses have been running well on the whole, one winner we missed out on was Druids Diamond who won his race at Beverley only to be demoted to second in a stewards inquiry. He did inconvenience the second horse and I think the decision could have gone either way, although frustrating it is not something that I am too upset about as I feel the stewards should make tough decisions like this more often.

One horse that has done well since joining us is Carlovian, he has done his first time owners " Profit Pony Racing" proud winning 2 out of his 5 races for them. Below is a picture of him coming back into the winners enclousure after winning at Leicester ridden by Will Milburn who works for us.

Last Monday saw Size Matters gain his first win at Ayr, he has been a horse that I have always thought a lot of and I am hoping now he has got his head in front he can go on to show on the track what he does on the gallops at home.

With the jump season proper just round the corner we have started doing some jumping with a few novice hurdlers. This is always an exciting time with a few flat horses going hurdling as well and the young national hunt horses. Below is a short video of a few horses schooling this morning, from first to last, Quest for Life, Druids Diamond, Bit of a Quirke and an unraced mare who is full sister to Miss Conway.
