Miss Conway made it 23 winners for us this jumps season, she lead from flag fall under Jamie Hamilton. It was one of the best rounds of jumping I have seen from one of our horses for a long time. What made this win extra special is that she was bred by my parents out of a mare my Dad trained called Miss Pross. We have seen her grow from a foal and done all her training right from the start. Below is a picture of her with her mother.

Bit of a Quirke got a well deserved win at Beverley last week, he has been very consistent and really deserved to get his head in front. He is sure to improve as the season goes on and will also be better when we finally get some rain! Below is a picture of him in the winners enclosure.

Some disappointing news announced this week is that Jake Greenall who has ridden 21 winners for me since I started training has announced his retirement from the saddle. I have known Jake since he started riding in point to points when he was 16. I rode against him for a couple of years before I retired and think I may have even beaten him once! He has been a great asset to us and will be missed by all the team and owners at Cornborough Manor, we wish him all the best for the future. Below is a picture of him riding my first jumps winner (Fentara) in 2014.
