7th March 2016

Just back from Wolverhampton, Lackaday ran a blinder to finish 2nd. It was his first start for us and his new owners, everyone was delighted with his run and he looks sure to be winning in the near future, he might back to Wolverhampton next week. Picture below is of him today. (Pink Colours)

It was great to see Mr Snoozy back in form at Doncaster at the weekend finishing 2nd, unfortunately he bumped into a very well handicapped horse but he looks very progressive over hurdles and I am fairly sure he will be having a productive spring/summer campaign. He has been out of sorts for a while but after treating a problem we found in his back he looks nearly back to his best.

Our first winner of the year came in the shape of Veroce, still a very immature 7yo he had been struggling to finish his races but at Market Rasen last month he stayed the 3 miles very well and won be 7 lengths, he looks a nice horse for the future and will be even better next season after a summer out in the field, his next race will be at Newcastle this month. The picture below is of him winning.

Our flat horses are now in full swing and most of them will be ready at the beginning of April, Woody Bay however will run a little earlier at Redcar's first meeting on the 28th of this month.
