Two runners today, Woody Bay ran a blinder to finish second at Doncaster only to be beaten by one of the outsiders, it's always fustrating finishing second and thinking "what if" but there were no excuses and he ran all the way to the line, he was just beaten by a better horse on the day.

Cornborough  who ran at Carlisle also ran well to finish 4th, it was a first try for him over further than a mile and he looked to stay the extra distance well, he might even get a mile and a half.

Still a few chances this week with Adam's Ale, Lilly's Legend, Big Sound and Oliver's Gold to come.
