New arrival

Dark Desire a son of Generous arrived at Cornborough Manor this week. His owners are Chasing Gold, and Tom Chadney who runs  Chasing Gold thought he might benefit from a change of scenery having been previously trained by Collin Tizzard. As soon as he arrived at the yard I was pleased to see that he is a lovely big horse who has plenty of size and scope, I watched him walk and trot round the yard and was impressed with the way he moved and he seemed to have a very willing attitude.

He won impressively on his first ever start for the Tizzards but was a little disappointing after that. It's quite daunting to get a horse from such a successful,  high profile trainer but saying that it's a challenge I relish and I am really looking forward to seeing what he can do next year. He will be turned out in one of our paddocks before returning to training in July.

Doncaster sales this week as well so there may be a couple more new arrivals........
