We were moving our mares and foals to a different paddock today and I took the opportunity to take a couple of pictures of them, this one is of them on the way to their new paddock.

Below is Gaspara and her colt foal by Shirocco.

Gaspara was a top class mare, during her racing career she won numerous races and also collected a £100,000 bonus by winning the Imperial Cup at Sandown followed by the Fred Winter Juvenile Hurdle Cheltenham Festival only days later in March 2007. Since then many other horses have tried to do this double and scoop the big bonus but none have been successful. This is her second foal, the first was sold in Ireland last year for 48,000 euros, this one will also go under the hammer in November this year.

Below is Zefooha with her filly foal by Haafhd

After purchasing Zefooha as a two year old she won 9 races for us, she was a really tough mare and won her races over hurdles as well as on the Flat. This is her second foal, her first is now a yearling (by Shirocco) he will either go to the sales as a three year old or we might keep him to race.
